Your character is directed to go speak with Apprentice Telinu or Craftmistress Sen in the Blacksmith Shop after she has been
released from her cell by Prisoner Warden Celia. Take the
tramway from the Prison over to
the Blacksmith Shop and walk straight ahead once off of the tram. You'll note a star on the compass mini-map as your character approaches. Once in the Blacksmith Shop, you'll see Apprentice Telinu, with an orange exclamation point icon above her head. Go over to her and speak to her to receive the Basket of Sharpening Stones (required to advance the main quest) and accept her request to find the "Tome of Smithing" in the Great Hall for her, which initiates this quest.
Your character must first deliver the Sharpening Stones to the dryad outpost in the Northern Greilyn Jungle. Exit through the door to the east toward the teleporter and head north past the Inn tramway to the Outpost tramway beyond. Speak to the Dryad Guard to open the gate. Take the tram down into the Northern Greilyn Jungle and your characters will meet Dryad Guard Jera as they are about to step off of the bottom of the platform. As they approach the outpost, four dryad prisoners, who're being held in a stockade just up the hill ahead, ask for help. Jera rushes forward to attack the Morden-Viir Grunt and two Morden-Urg Thugs in the outpost compound, but doesn't last long against them. They then head down the hill toward your character. Ensure your character has a weapon or spell readied and attack the Morden-Viir Grunt first, then take out the two Morden-Urg Thugs. The enemies are different and stronger in Veteran Mode. Head up the short hill and over to the gate and left click on it to open it. Kirani and three other dryad prisoners, who run back to Eirulan, emerge, just as Prisoner Warden Celia shows up to check on your character. Kirani explains that your character saved them. Prisoner Warden Celia wants to know how and why Dryad Guard Jera died. Kirani says that Jera was overwhelmed and there was nothing the prisoner could have done about it. Celia doubts your character but Kirani intercedes on your character's behalf. Celia than tasks your character with destroying the four towers the Morden have erected around the village of Eirulan and Kirani then gives your character some gear, while Celia bestows the Eirulan teleport stone. This part of the primary quest is automatically accepted. Return to Eirulan and add Lothar or Deru to your party. Both of them are standing near the outpost tramway. Check their equipment and upgrade anything, which you deem appropriate. Return to the Northern Greilyn Jungle and just follow the path (the yellow directional arrow in your mini-map will generally point the way when there's a choice of continuing route to be made) to encounter enemies and the four Morden Towers. They must all be destroyed before this secondary quest can be completed. During your party's initial travels, they will encounter Morain atop a hill in the jungle, as she confronts the Hak'u kidnapper of her niece Tanzi. She'll make another quest available to you after the confrontation. Once the four towers have been destroyed, head south from the Eirulan teleporter past the tramway for the Great Hall, Infirmary, past the tramway for the Pet Shop, South Gate, to the tramway for the Prison. Ride it across to the Prison and speak to Warden Celia to regain your character's freedom and complete this task in Act I, Chapter 3 (The Morden Towers!) primary quest.
Once accomplished, head back across the tramway and then proceed north to the tramway for the Great Hall, Infirmary and ride it across to the Great Hall. Enter through the front door and pick up the
Tome of Smithing from the ledge nearby the War Machine in the northeast corner of the Great Hall foyer.
Head over to the other side of the foyer and speak to Taar, who has an orange question mark icon above her head, to have the prisoner collar removed, which completes Act I, Chapter III (The Morden Towers). Return to the Blacksmith Shop and again speak to Apprentice Telinu, who now has an orange question mark icon above her head. Choose the third response from the Tome of Smithing instructions and Apprentice Telinu will create a piece of dryad armor and show it to Craftmistress Sen for approval, which she'll receive, then give your character the Rare Crafted Dryad Armor which she made and the Rare Dryad Spell Book as a reward,. Replying with any other recipe, results in an unfavorable response from Craftmistress Sen and your character receives the just fashioned nearly worthless (2 gold) piece of Blundered Dryad Armor. In either case this quest is completed.
