Teleport to the
Eastern Greilyn Jungle and head north from the teleporter, then quickly turn
east up the hill and
follow the path toward the Kithraya Caverns. Just before the path turns to the south
across a bridge, instead
head northeast off of the path, skirting the ruined structure, then continue north toward past the stairway leading upward, which leads to
the above ground exit to the shelter,
via an elevator, and toward
the cave entrance up ahead. Enter
An Underground Shelter and proceed forward and then
turn to the east and open the door. There's a
room off to the south, which contains some treasure. When ready, go through the door to the east, then
continue east through the following doorway. Turn south and open
any one of the three doors in the south wall to find
Feldwyr the Blacksmith in the next room. Enter and speak with him. When he asks for help in recovering his stolen anvil and mythril ore, agree to do so to initiate this quest.
He'll note that he's managed to unlock the door to the east, which grants access to the area below, but hasn't managed to get much farther due to the ferocity of the enemies below. He suggests not venturing below until your party is stronger, regardless of their current strength. Your Mercenary level party should be around level 20 - 25; Veteran level party around 50 - 55, before heading below.
Head east into the next room, and continue east down several sets of stairs until reaching the War Pedestal at the center of a "T" shaped intersection. Hmm they have to find two items... Bet that one is in one direction and the other is in the opposite direction! Head down the stairs to the north and open the door at the bottom of the stairs. Continue through the doorway, then turn to the east. Cross the room and open the next door and go on through, then turn to the south. Turn to the east and open the next door to encounter a Plagued Elder Hak'u Witch Doctor and a few minions, who must be defeated to obtain Feldwyr's Anvil.
Open the eastern door and enter the next room. Turn north and open the door, then enter the next room. There's a hidden switch on the left side of a small alcove on the east wall. Activate it to open a secret room to the east. Loot the treasure chest in the center of the secret room. There's also a hidden switch in here in the southeast corner of the room. Activate it to open a secret area to the east. There's yet another secret lever on the wall at the eastern end of this area, which does nothing when activated, because the doorway it can be used to open, has already been opened. Return to the room with the chest and activate the hidden lever on the southeast side of the room to uncover another secret area. Now head on over to the nearby southwest corner and activate still another hidden lever, which also does nothing, because the doorway it can be used to open, has already been opened. Exit the room to the west and head to the northwest corner of the area beyond and activate another hidden lever to open the way to another secret area to the north, which can be entered to obtain a piece of armor from the armor stand. Head south back out of this room then turn west and open the door. Enter the next room, where you see a basket upon a pedestal to the north. Open it for some gold. Proceed west to find another basket on a pedestal to the north. Open it for some more gold. Open the western door and move into the next room, then turn south. Open the door and return to the starting room of the area. Head west through the already opened door and continue until turning south and take the pathway back to the War Pedestal.
Continue down the stairway to the south and take care of the Decorated Taclak Tracker at the bottom of the stairs. Open the first door into a large room filled with Taclak Bashers and Taclak Trackers, plus one or more Decorated Taclak Trackers, who'll be the same level as your characters. Deal with them and use all of your powers on them right away. If your party is having trouble and being knocked out, retreat to Eirulan and increase their armor. This room also contains two doors to the south and two doors to the east.
Open the southwest door first and enter the next room. Click on the pedestal along the east wall to open an "L" shaped secret room to the south. Enter it and destroy the attackers, then turn west and head down the stairs and open the door at the bottom and enter the room beyond to find a chest upon two stone blocks. Loot the chest, then back track to the large room. Open up the southeast door, and a horde of enemies will come streaming out, including a Decorated Taclak Tracker, who drops some decent treasure plus Feldwyr's Mythril Ore. There's some piddly treasure in the southeastern rooms.
Open the southern east door for a couple of baskets containing a paltry amount of gold on the right as they enter. Note the dais in the southeast corner and the hidden switch on the second step. Left click it to open a secret room to the east. Enter the secret room and open the eastern door. Enter the treasure room and take out the six to eight Taclak Trackers and Bashers, who attack. There's a weapons barrel at the east end of the room, and armor stands at the north and south ends. Once done, return west into the large room and open the eastern door to the north. Enter to loot the armor stand at the east end, then exit the room and head west back into the large room.
Now head north and turn west at the War Pedestal and continue up the stairways. As soon as they reach the top of the stairs, a cut scene occurs, showing Feldwyr's hammer being stolen by a Decorated Taclak Tracker, who burst through the wall to the north. Your active character will agree to find and retrieve his hammer.
Proceed into his room and through the door to the north. There's a Traveler's Sanctuary to the west, openable by a Melee skilled player of nine or better in Mercenary Mode. Continue on through the ragged opening in the north wall into an irregular well defended area, with a couple of Decorated Taclak Trackers near the rear, one of whom (denoted with a star on your compass mini-map) drops Feldwyr's hammer, after being dispatched. If your party enters the area just far enough to draw out the two Decorated Taclak Trackers and then retreats back toward Blacksmith Feldwyr, they may be able to avoid fighting some of the lesser unimportant enemies in the area, although a goodly number will follow them back to Fledwyr's area. Defeat the Decorated Taclak Tracker holding Feldwyr's hammer.
Once it's in hand, return to Blacksmith Feldwyr, indicated by a slowly pulsing white star on your compass mini-map and who now has an orange question mark icon above his head. He thanks your character profusely for returning his hammer and says it will take him a few days to complete work on a fantastic weapon for them. He says that since commerce with Aman'lu has improved, he'll send it to his apprentice blacksmith brother Fyrndolf in Aman'lu, which your character obviously knows well and says so. This completes this step of the quest.
Head south and open the door. Enter to find some enemies and a swirly patterned elevator in the southwest corner. Activate the nearby switch and ride the elevator up and open the door, which could not be opened from the outside on the way in. Head on out back into Eastern Greilyn Jungle, then teleport back to Eirulan. You can not complete this quest until your party has access to Aman'lu beginning in Act II, Chapter 1 (The Town of Aman'lu).
Once your party has access, head west from the Aman'lu teleporter, then turn north at the tavern's front door. Walk down the hill and you'll note a white star inside the Equipment Shop on your small compass map. Enter and speak to Blacksmith Apprentice Fyrndolf. He'll note that your character helped his brother, who was grateful for that help, and he has received the package containing the promised weapon, which he gives to your party, completing this quest.
