Head south from the Eirulan teleporter past the tramway for the Great Hall, Infirmary to the Pet Shop, South Gate tramway. Head across to the Pet Shop and enter it and speak with Pet Merchant Neda. Ask about exotic pets (#2 option) to initiate a conversation about mages and a Dire Wolf. Agree to help find one for her to initiate the quest.

She gives pretty explicit instructions on how to satisfy the next step. Exit the Pet Shop and head east to the Great Hall, Infirmary tramway. Take the tram across to the Great Hall. Enter and head down the ramp straight ahead and speak to Rokhar the Mage, who has an orange question mark above his head. Tell him that Neda want his help in acquiring a Dire Wolf. He'll remark that she doesn't want much, but agrees to help. He then gives very specific instructions on how to get to the rift site and hurries up the ramp.

Exit the Great Hall and head for the Blacksmith Shop, Magic Shop, North Gate tramway. Get on the tram and ride it back across, then head north to the Eirulan teleporter. Teleport to the Eastern Greilyn Jungle, then head north along the path until it forks. Follow the path northwest toward the Dryad Exile Colony. Once there, follow the path as it turns north and continue along the path until they almost reach Razka's Ruins. Head north along the northern upper edge of the ruins into the jungle until reaching a small Hak'u camp a short distance away. Cross the river and continue north into A Small Cave. Head through the cave, taking out the few Hak'u, who wish to fight, then emerge and follow the path a short ways further to Rokhar's Rift Site, where Rokhar The Mage awaits your party with an orange question mark icon above his head. Approach and speak to him to learn that he believes many Nawl beasts will attack and possibly a Morden-Gral Mage as well and that he wishes to remain undisturbed while he's working.

Speak to Rokhar again to learn that everything went much more smoothly than anticipated and that he will send the Dire Wolf back to the Pet Shop in Eirulan and then heads back to Eirulan as well.

Your party should do the same, returning to the Pet Shop to speak to Neda to receive the quest rewards, which completes this quest. The Dire Wolf may at any time hereafter be purchased for 500 Gold and included in your party.
